ANTALYA, 25th October, 2016 (WAM) — A blast took place today in a car park at the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry building, injuring around 10 people.

In a press statement, Menderes Mehmet Turel, the Mayor of Antalya, said, “10 to 12 people were slightly injured by flying glass, but none of the injuries were serious.” He pointed out that the cause of the explosion is as yet unknown.

Mr. Turel added that ambulances and police rushed to the scene immediately after the explosion to rescue and protect civilians from other possible explosions, in addition to transporting those injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.
