Dubai, UAE, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — March 23, 2015 Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The 20 th Dubai World Cup World at Meydan Race Course, a showcase of nine horse races known as the “world’s richest day in racing” with $30 million in purses leading up to a US$10 million grand prize, together with the renowned pyrotechnics company Fireworks by Grucci broke the Guinness World Record for the “World’s Largest Pyrotechnic Image.”  That mark was originally set by Fireworks by Grucci in 2014.

Fireworks by Grucci was commissioned to design, engineer and produce the March 28 finale at Meydan Race Course with a live outdoor multimedia production including Pyrotechnics, Fireworks, Lighting, Lasers and Sound. The record-setting image—of the UAE flag—was actually achieved twice in daytime and nighttime performances.  The image was (dimensions). The previous Guinness World Record held by Grucci stood at 50,167.64 sq/m (540,000 sq/ft). That mark was achieved during the 200th anniversary celebration of the United States National Anthem.
