PARIS, 20th May, 2016 (WAM)–H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met here today with French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
During the meeting, they discussed friendship and cooperation between the UAE and France and ways to strengthen them in the best interest of the two friendly people. They also tackled how best to enhance the strategic ties in light of the distinguished friendship bonds between the two countries.
Sheikh Abdullah and Ayrault also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments as well as positions of the two countries pertaining to combating all forms of terrorism, importance of safeguarding the regional and world security and peace.
The meeting was attended by Maadhad Hareb Mughair Al Khaili, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic and Dr. Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Counselor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
