ABU DHABI, 20th October, 2016 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Masood Ahmed, Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)’s Middle East and Central Asia (MECA) Department, and discussed the latest economic developments, among other issues, on Thursday.

In the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of State Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, they also discussed the challenges and future opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The meeting also reviewed the IMF’s activities in the MENA region and means to strengthen the fund’s relations and co-operation with the UAE.
