VALLETTA, 22nd July, 2016 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today visited Saint John’s Co-Cathedral Valletta, Malta.

Sheikh Abdullah and those accompanying him toured the church, deemed one of the landmarks of Valletta, and learnt about its various divisions. He was also briefed about the history of the church, its works of art, paintings and museum.

The St. John Co- Church Cathedral, built by the Knights of St. John in 1572, is deemed a sacred place as well as a venue for cultural, heritage and educational celebrations.

During the tour, Sheikh Abdullah was accompanied by Salem Isa Al Qattam Al Zaabi, UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to Malta.
