ABU DHABI, 5th December, 2016 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, praised the progressive fraternal ties between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed.

He also appreciated the government and the people of Oman for sharing the joy of the UAE’s celebration of its 45th National Day anniversary.

This came as the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince today conferred at Qasr Al Bahr, the Order of Zayed II of 3rd Class on Brigadier Abdul Raziq bin Abdul Qadir Al Shahourzi, Commander of the Royal Cavalry of Oman, and Qasim bin Mohammed Ibrahim Al Ma’aeeni, Assistant Chief of Oman’s Royal Protocol For Music Folklore, following participation of the Omani Royal Music Band and Royal Cavalry Band in the celebrations of UAE’s 45th National Day anniversary in Abu Dhabi.

Others present at the ceremony included H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO); H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, and Sheikhs and senior officials.
