ABU DHABI, The Abu Dhabi Police participated in a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, titled "International Relations during Crises and Disasters," which was organised by the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, NAUSS, in cooperation with the International Civil Defence Organisation, ICDO, and the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations, GSD.

The meeting discussed the importance of international cooperation in solving issues and managing crises, as well as the key international mechanisms and knowledge required during and after crises and disasters. There was also a presentation on relevant international practices and a discussion on further cooperation.

The meeting saw the participation of 120 delegates and representatives of Arab ministries of interior and other relevant ministries, as well as Arab, regional and international organisations concerned with facing crises and disasters and limiting their effects.

The Abu Dhabi Police delegation included Captain Mohammed Saeed Al Shekeili and First Lt. Ahmed Abdullah Al Musaabi from the Crises and Disasters Administration at the Central Operations Sector, who visited the headquarters of the ICDO and exchanged commemorative plaques with the President of NAUSS and the Chairman of the ICDO.
