Dilruba Khanom, wife of former deputy secretary Abu Md Nurul Islam, stands accused of concealing information in her wealth statement given to the ACC.
Charges of acquiring wealth disproportionate to her known sources of income were also brought against Khanom, who now lives in Chittagong with her husband.
The ACC's Chittagong office filed the case with a police station in the city on Tuesday.
ACC Deputy Director Shadhan Chandra Sutradhar said that Khanom's assets are worth Tk 18.82 million, but the statement submitted to the graft watchdog did not mention about assets worth Tk 3.82 million.
