AJMAN, -- H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, viewed the plans, programmes, strategy, workings and goals of the Ministry of Community Development, with the attendance of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
The ministry desires to provide community services and launch new comprehensive initiatives to enable the individuals of the community and its different sectors, including "People of Determination", to join the community, and provide special services for them.
This came during a reception by Sheikh Humaid for Najla bint Mohammed Al Awar, Minister of Community Development, on the occasion of her participation and attendance of the discussion sessions of the Ajman Leadership Development Programme, which is executed by the Central Directorate of Human Resources Development in Ajman.
During the meeting, the Ajman Ruler stressed that the UAE is considered one of the countries where all individuals of the community are equal with no difference between each person as everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, adding that everyone is a soldier to serve the nation. He called for working with sincerity and dedication to serving the UAE, and rehabilitating, training and encouraging citizens to participate in building the nation through innovations, ideas and suggestions that everyone can benefit from.
Sheikh Humaid said that the credit should go to the Islamic principles and correct foundations that were set by the late Founder of the Federation, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the support of the leadership, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as the UAE is a model and example of co-existence with a prestigious regional and international stature.
Sheikh Humaid highlighted the necessity of caring about the sectors of youth, girls, "People of Determination" and the Emirati family, while focussing on providing integrated and comprehensive services that enable national manpower to build and develop the nation, and provide them with dignified lives so that they can contribute, with their arms, to the journey of overall advancement, community development and building the nation. He stressed that the leadership of the country is giving the youth sector from both sexes, women and "People of Determination" care and priority by providing them with services, advocacy and support for their rehabilitation, training and education.
He said that the Ministry of Community Development has a significant role in the upcoming period in terms of providing a community atmosphere for the Emirati family, observing their needs and searching for outcomes to help their participation in the daily task of advancing the nation. He also stressed the necessity of increasing the ministry's role in establishing community centres and expanding their activities to serve all individuals of the community, by encouraging them to express and innovate and helping them to market their products that are produced from home, as well as directing the youth sector to benefit from their intellectual and creative abilities. He also highlighted the necessity of offering encouragement to the youth to encourage them to build their future and benefit from what they have learnt from everyday life and the universities, to take the lead and continue their journey of building, advancing and elevating the country and its citizens.
Sheikh Humaid expressed his happiness, pride and honour for the achievements of women in the UAE, and their efforts to build and serve the nation and for participating in developing its capabilities.
He and the attendees listened to Najla bint Mohammed Al Awar's explanation about the plans and future programmes of the ministry, and its role in providing community services for the entire family, and to establish the concept of co-operation between everyone, as well as its strategic goals to provide exceptional and comprehensive services and expand its activities for the entire UAE. She added that the Ajman Community Centre has achieved positive results, becoming a model to be followed in establishing new programmes for the family and the individuals of the community.
She stated that the ministry's programme and goals are to provide new and integrated community services that enable the community to participate in the process of production and development while stressing that the community is not complete without all its citizens, and its role is to achieve overall advancement with the participation of everyone.
She also spoke about government accelerators, while highlighting the fact that the Ajman Community Centre is considered as the best centres for providing many services for the individuals of the community and for families. She added they will work to launch new initiatives that will serve the family, provide family counselling for those planning to get married, train boys and girls on skills and professions that serve the general interest and expand the centre by adding entertainment facilities, to be opened soon, for members of families and others.
She then stated the necessity of caring for "People of Determination", placing new initiatives for them, providing for their various needs, caring for them and rehabilitating and training them, as well as caring for the elderly through care homes that provide exceptional services for them.
