SEOUL, 7th October 2016 (WAM) – The UAE leadership has great expectations from the youth, who are entrusted with safeguarding and further developing their country, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, has said.
Al Gergawi made the remarks today in Seoul, South Korea, during his meeting with students from the UAE.
During the Youth Retreat last week, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, had set a new plan in motion in the federal government for empowering the youth and enabling them to contribute to the country’s development, he said.
In his regular meetings with the youth, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, affirmed that the youth have been entrusted with safeguarding and developing the UAE and that wherever they go, they act as the ambassadors and representatives for their country, its identity, culture and values, Al Gergawi added.
He urged the students to make maximum use of their stay in South Korea, not only in the academic fields, but also in transferring successful experiences to their country, through building viable relations with their universities and their professors, in a way that would contribute in furthering the UAE’s ties with South Korea.
