ABU DHABI,–Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Foreign Minister of International Cooperation for International Affairs, received, on Wednesday at the ministry, the credentials of Bukari Sidi Bey, Ambassador of Mali to the UAE.

Al Jarmen welcomed the Malian envoy, wishing him success in his new position. He stressed the interest of the UAE in bolstering relations with the Republic of Mali in a way that reflects the aspirations of the leaders of both countries.

The UAE official assured the Ambassador of Mali that he would receive support from the ministry to upgrade the ties to wider horizons.

Ambassador Sidi Bey expressed his satisfaction in representing his country in the UAE, which enjoys prestigious regional and international status. He also commended the role of the UAE in the international humanitarian arena, as it works to ease humanitarian crises in a number of countries worldwide.

He further praised the humanitarian and development aid delivered by the UAE to Mali in 2012.
