ABU DHABI, 23rd June, 2016 (WAM) – Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Minister of Foreign and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, today received the copy of credentials of Deng Deng Nhial, Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan to the UAE.

Al Jarman welcomed the new envoy and wished him success in his new task.

He stressed the keenness of the UAE to strengthen and develop relations with the Republic of South Sudan in a manner that reflects the aspirations of the leadership, and serves the mutual objectives and interests of the two countries.

Al Jarman assured the new ambassador that the ministry would accord him all support and assistance to facilitate his task to upgrade the relationship between the UAE and South Sudan to wider horizons, and contribute to consolidating mutual co-operation.

Ambassador Nhial expressed his pleasure at representing his country in the UAE, which enjoys regional and international prestige, thanks to the wise policies of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He stressed his commitment towards promoting relations in the best interests of both countries and peoples.
