ABU DHABI, 13th October, 2015 (WAM) — The Chairman of the Arab Human Rights committee, Dr. Hadi bin Ali Al-Yami, has expressed his sorrow at the serious deterioration of human rights in Yemen, saying that the people in Yemen suffer daily from killing, displacement and depletion of national resources.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, while addressing a symposium at the Arab League headquarters, Dr. Al-Yami said, “A team from the Arab League Human Rights Committee conducted a fact-finding visit to Yemen from 11th to 13th of September 2015, following the liberation of Aden.” He said that Houthi criminals who committed violations of human rights in Yemen should be held responsible.

He added that his team also suggested a number of recommendations to tackle the human rights situation in Yemen.
