CAIRO, 14th July, 2016 (WAM) — The Arab League Council will hold a consultative meeting at the level of permanent delegates on Saturday, in the presence of the newly-appointed Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul-Gheit.

In a press statement carried by the Middle East News Agency, MENA, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli, told reporters on Wednesday that this meeting is the first consultative meeting for Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit with permanent representatives to deliberate on the latest arrangements and preparations for holding the next regular Arab Summit scheduled in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, on 25th and 26th July.
