NEW YORK, 23rd February, 2016 (WAM) — Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General, has condemned the multiple bombings which took place in Damascus and Homs, Syria, and are claimed by Daesh. The terrorist attacks resulted in the killing of at least 155 people, mainly civilians, and several hundred more injured.

The Secretary-General extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He added that those responsible for these atrocious and deliberate attacks on civilians must be held accountable.
