Foreign Affairs Minister Gibran Bassil on Tuesday evening responded to the invitation of his counterpart Murray McCully in New Zealand to a dinner banquet in Auckland whereby both discussed bilateral ties and means of boosting them especially at the economic level.

Both also discussed the issues relevant to terror and displaced Syrians.

Afterwards, Minister Bassil met with a delegation of businessmen council in the Middle East, with talks featuring high on the necessity of boosting economic and social ties between Lebanon and New Zealand.
