QUETTA, Pakistan, 8th August, 2016 (WAM) — Five people have reportedly died and over 20 more injured, in a powerful bomb blast at Civil Hospital Quetta, on Monday.

Police sources said that a large number of lawyers and other people had gathered at Civil Hospital where the body of a senior lawyer leader, Bilal Anwar Kasi, had been brought after being gunned down at Manno Jan Road Quetta by unknown armed assailants, and it is reported that some of these lawyers were among the dead.

Pakistani Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has strongly condemned the blast and expressed deep grief and anguish over the loss of precious human lives.
