Rulers of the Emirates condole with Saudi King on death of Prince Turki bin Abdullah

EMIRATES: Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates have sent separate condolence messages to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia on the death of Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The messages were sent by Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members, the Rulers of the Emirates, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.

Their Crown Princes and deputy rulers also sent similar cables to the Saudi King.

FM congratulates Ghanaian counterpart


The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf sent on Tuesday, a congratulatory message to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, on the occasion of her country’s National Day.

On 6 March 1957, the Gold Coast (now known as Ghana) gained independence from Britain.

The Independence Day of Ghana is a national holiday celebrated yearly and the day is granted as an official state holiday for the citizens of Ghana .

Four tons of expired foodstuffs destroyed in Rada’a district in Al-Bayda


The Industry and Trade Office in Rada’a District in Al-Bayda Governorate destroyed on Tuesday four tons of expired food and consumer items.

During the destruction process, Ahmed al-Tahri, director of the industry office in the province, explained that the operation took place after completing all legal procedures related to these materials, which were seized in some shops.

In turn, the Director of Rada’a District, Ahmed Al-Akam, praised the efforts of the control teams of the Industry Office in seizing expired materials, pointing to the need to enhance community awareness to verify the sources of goods and the date of production and expiry for the safety of citizens.

While the Director of the Industry Office in the Directorate confirmed the continuation of the field visit of the control teams until the end of Ramadan month to control supply violations.

The destruction was attended by the director of the Hygiene and Improvement Fund in the governorate, Abdul Hafeez Al-Maghrabi, prosecutor Ahmed Al-Maori, a
nd representatives of a number of concerned authorities.

‘ISLAMIC RESISTANCE’ STRIKES ENEMY’S MERKAVA TANK IN NTOA SETTLEMENT, TARGETS KIRYAT SHMONA SETTLEMENT AND A GATHERING OF ENEMY SOLDIERS IN AL-TAYHAT HILL

The Islamic Resistance issued on Tuesday the following statement: ‘In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance struck, at 14:15 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, an Israeli enemy Merkava tank in the Ntoa settlement, while it was bombarding the Lebanese villages and civilians, with a guided missile, and achieved direct hits.’

The Islamic Resistance also issued the following statement: ‘In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the Zionist enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, especially the aggression on Bint Jbeil town, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted at 14:20 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the Kiryat Shmona settlement with appropriate weapons.’

The Islamic Resistance later issued another statement, announcing that ‘its mujahideen targeted, at
14:30 pm, on Tuesda, March 5, 2024, a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers in Al-Tayhat Hilltop, with missile weapons and achieved direct hit it.’
