Choosing Egypt to host football super cup match reflects excellent relations: UAE ambassador to Egypt

CAIRO, 13th September, 2016 (WAM)--Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, has said that the choice of Egypt to hold the UAE Football League super cup is of great significance, and emphasises the uniqueness of the relations between the UAE and Egypt.

Ambassador Al Junaibi made the remarks at the reception hosted by the embassy in honour of members of the Boards of Al Ahli and Al Jazeera football clubs, members of the UAE Football Association, the organising company of the super cup match, and the UAE and Egyptian media persons.

In a speech during the ceremony, Ambassador Al Junaibi congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

He also congratulated President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the people of Egypt on the occasion.

The UAE envoy praised Egypt for the reception and hospitality accorded to the UAE delegation.
