Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives US Secretary of State

JEDDAH, 15th May, 2016 (WAM) -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, today received the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, said that during the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in the region were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister; Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Royal Court Chief, Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Essa.

It was also attended by the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Joseph W. Westphal, US Assistant Secretary of State, Jonathan Finer, and a number of officials.
