DUBAI, -- The DEWA Women's Committee has recently organised a successful special exhibition for women called 'Laha,' " For Her" in line with the commitment of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, to support and strengthen women's rights and to promote their talent.

The event was held in a special tent at DEWA's headquarters. The exhibit featured participation from pioneering Emirati businesswomen showcasing innovations in several fields.

"The first and most important focus of the DEWA Women's Committee is to provide all possible facilities and requirements to enhance the levels of satisfaction and happiness among our female employees, while also being able to help them unleash their creative abilities and talents in various fields, aspects of life and professionalism, in line with the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who said, 'Our job is to create an environment for women's capabilities, an environment that preserves their dignity and femininity, helps them balance their lives and appreciates their talents and energies,'" said Khawla Al Mehairi, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at DEWA, and Chairperson of the DEWA Women's Committee.

"We currently have more than 1,800 female employees spread out across all departments and sectors, and we are keen to provide them with sufficient care and support to enhance their professional and life skills, help them reach the highest leadership in administrative and technical positions, promote their participation in the development of society, support local economic growth within an environment that develops their talents and knowledge and highlight their achievements at professional and personal levels," said Fatima Deemas, Vice Chairperson of the DEWA Women's Committee.
