DUBAI, 19th October, 2016 (WAM) — The Dubai Health Authority, DHA, has signed a contract with Etisalat to provide end-to-end Managed Network Services for all its hospital, health centres and medical fitness centres.

The contract was signed by Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Senior VP for Government Sales at Etisalat and Amani Al Jassmi, Director of Information Technology, IT, at the DHA in presence of senior officials including Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the DHA and Salvador Anglada, Chief Business Officer at Etisalat.

In line with the contract, Etisalat will use powerful networks that will seamlessly connect all DHA health facilities, doctors and healthcare staff and enable better communications and access to information in a secure environment, which is vital, particularly in the health sector.

The WAN connectivity offers dependable main links as well as back up links, which makes connectivity failures highly unlikely and the contract includes service level agreements, which will ensure timely resolution of any network issues.
