DUBAI, -- Dubai Crown Prince H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited today the 11th edition of Art Dubai Exhibition being held at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
This year, Art Dubai welcomed 94 galleries from a record 43 countries showcasing works of more than 500 artists, making this the most global edition to date.
Art Dubai is a platform that lets Middle Eastern artists exhibit their works on a global stage. It includes Art Dubai, Design Days Dubai, Downtown Design, and Art Week. In the past decade, almost 5,000 artists have participated in Art Dubai, while it has seen over hundreds of thousands of visitors.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Health and Prevention Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash, and several senior officials.
