ISLAMABAD, 21st February, 2016 (WAM) — A moderate 5.9 magnitude earthquake shook parts of north west of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province in Pakistan today.
The epicenter was in the Hindu Kush mountain range along Afghanistan’s border at a depth of 157 kilometers.
Pakistan meteorological official Mushtaq Shah said there were no immediate reports on casualties or damage. The quake was felt in different northwestern cities and tribal regions including Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Swat and Bajaur.
