MRAJEEB AL FHOOD, 13th September, 2016 (WAM) – The administration at the Emirati-Jordanian camp distributed Eid Al Adha meat to all the refugees there, numbering 7, 000.
It also put a smile on the faces of children who received Eid presents.
Salem Al Mazrouei, Deputy Director of the camp, who took part in the distribution process along with the volunteers of Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), referred to the significant role of the UAE’s humanitarian organisations in assisting the needy locally and abroad. He stated that the Sharjah Charity International contributed part of the Al Adha meat in co-ordination with the ERC.
Al Mazrouei complimented the authority’s employees who preferred to spend the Eid holiday away from their families to serve the Syrian refugees.
The beneficiaries praised the ERC for continuously assisting them.
Earlier, the refugees performed the Eid prayers at the camp’s mosque at Mrajeeb Al Fhood, east of Zarqaa Province in Jordan.
