DUBAI, -- The 1st Emirates Forensic Conference and Exhibition will be launched on 2nd April, the largest event to specialise in forensic evidence and criminology in the region, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and under the theme of "Digital Forensic Science".

The conference will provide a perfect opportunity for university students to view the latest research and specialised technologies, and provide them with an opportunity to gain expertise and effective participation by presenting their research papers, oral presentations and scientific posters.

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said that the wise leadership is giving special priority to forensics, and directions to keep up with the latest scientific and technological developments, while highlighting the new General Administration for Forensics building, which was launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid for this advanced civilised technological accomplishment, which he described as a national educational and training establishment, over a security establishment.

He mentioned the statement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, where he said, "The leadership of Dubai Police with all its centres and administration, has become a beacon of knowledge, learning and training, and for applying international courses and educational programmes that specialise in police, security and legal sciences."

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also said, "The general leadership of the Dubai Police, with the co-operation and co-ordination of the country's police leadership and the Ministry of the Interior, will continue to follow the security and stability of society and the safety of its individuals, and secure public and private property."

Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Director of the Conference and Chairman of Index Holding, expressed his happiness at organising this specialised international event, and said, "we and the Dubai Police have a strong partnership and ties, as we work together to serve our precious country through organising the most prominent and specialised international summits, which are launched exclusively from Dubai to the world."

He highlighted the plan to promote the conference and exhibition internationally, through offices and partner companies all over the world.
