Emirates National Schools celebrates graduation of 778 students

ABU DHABI, 23rd June, 2022 (WAM) — Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the Emirates National Schools today celebrated the graduation of its 15th batch of 12th grade students.

During the event, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates National Schools, delivered a speech thanking President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for supporting education and the advancement of the UAE’s education sector, following in the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Al Humairi further explained that this approach represents the cornerstone of the government’s efforts, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

He also thanked Sheikh Mansour for his keenness to support the Emirates National Schools and ensure its excellence and the quality of its educational outputs.

The graduation ceremony of the 15th batch of 12th grade students was organised virtually, with the attendance of Al Humairi and several of Emirates National Schools board members, as well as Dr. Shaun Daley, Director-General of the Emirates National Schools, and several teaching and administration staff.

In his speech, Dr. Daley lauded the achievements of the graduates and announced the inauguration of the Excellence Centres for Technical and Professional Training, as part of the vision of the Emirates National Schools to prepare future leaders.

In 2022, the Emirates National Schools celebrates twenty years of excellence and creativity in the field of education since its launch in 2002, with the number of its graduates since its inception totalling over 3,500 students.
