Fair weather forecast until Tuesday

Moderate and breezy weather is expected to prevail on Tuesday in most of the Kingdom’s regions, with daytime temperatures reaching 28 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily forecast.

In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as mercury levels slide to around 14C. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, relatively hot conditions are predicted to dominate with mercury reaching a high of 35 degrees, dropping to 23C at night.

Clouds will build at various altitudes, bringing a chance for scattered showers of rain in parts of the eastern and southeastern areas accompanied by thunder at times, meteorologists expected.

Similar weather conditions will persist on Wednesday, but Thursday will see a few degrees increase in mercury levels, triggering relatively hot to hot conditions in much of the country, except in the highlands where it will be fair.
