The Federal and Khyber Pakthunkhwa governments Friday joined hands to work together for eradication of polio disease from the province and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
Talking to media persons here, Pakistan TehreekeInsaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said provincial government would extend full support to federal government for eradication of polio diseases in Fata.
Imran Khan said he has kept all political differences aside and joined hands with the federal government to save children battling polio in KP and Fata.
The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan as well as international organisations such as United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Bill Gates Foundation, World Health Organisation (WHO), and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government have also dedicated their full support to wipe out polio virus, he added.
He said KP people have to suffer difficulty and restrictions to visit abroad if polio virus was not control. He said it was our collective responsibility to make Sehat ka Insaf program as success.
