DUBAI — Humaid Mohammed bin Salim, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has met with the Chairman of the Supreme National Committee for Drug Prevention affiliated with the National Anti-Narcotics Council.
During the meeting, Humaid bin Salim and Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Dabal discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides and activate the national role of the commercial and industrial sectors in raising society’s awareness of the issues, and their support the efforts of the Supreme Committee through activities and campaigns.
Dr. Al Dabal reviewed the role of the Anti-Narcotics Council under the guidance of Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Council, and the role of the Supreme National Committee.
He noted the contributions and great successes achieved by the committee in raising society’s awareness and implementing international standards related to drug abuse.
Dr. Al Dabal called for concerted efforts to achieve the highest level of care in the framework of the national committee’s campaigns and goals.
