ABU DHABI, 19th October 2016 (WAM) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Agapito Mba Mokuy, Equatorial Guinea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in all fields was discussed during the meeting, which was held in presence of Fausto Abeso Fuma, Equatorial Guinean Minister to the Presidency In Charge of Civil Aviation.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visiting Equatorial Guinean minister and his accompanying delegation, saying the visit reflects the keenness of the leadership in the two countries to deepen ties between the two friendly countries and peoples.
Minister Mokuy applauded the progressive relations between the UAE and Equatorial Guinea, and expressed his country’s interest in expanding their relations.
Sheikh Abdullah and Mokuy also signed several agreements between the UAE and Equatorial Guinea on promoting and protecting investments, avoidance of dual taxation, prevention of the evasion of income tax and capital tax, as well as air services.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Sharaf Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Commercial Affairs.
