KUWAIT, 18th February, 2016 (WAM) — The GCC states have the same perspectives regarding various issues of common concern regarding the guidelines set by the leaders and Information Ministers’ recommendations.

Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth Affairs, made this affirmation as he left for Riyadh, heading an official delegation to a consultative meeting grouping the GCC Ministers of Information, due to take place later today.

The meeting aims to boost Gulf media and enhance information cooperation among GCC countries with the aim of working out a “common media language that embodies the GCC solidarity.”

According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, the Director-General and Chairman of the Kuwait News Agency, will be attending the meeting, along with Tareq Al Mezrem, the Information Under-Secretary, Faisal Al Mutallaqem the Under-Secretary for External Information, and Director of the Minister’s Bureau, Saud Al-Khaldi.
