RIYADH, 8th December, 2015 (WAM) — Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from tomorrow is set to host the 36th session of the six-nation GCC’s Supreme Council at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Riyadh has previously played host to six GCC summits, beginning with the second, which was held in November 1981 at the invitation of the late King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, when the political, economical and security situations in the Arab Gulf were reviewed, according to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA.
