RIYADH, 15th July 2016 (WAM) — The foreign ministers of The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and the European Union will hold the 25th GCC-EU ministerial meeting at the EU headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, on Monday.

Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel Al Jubeir, who is the current chair of the GCC Ministerial Council, and the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, will co-chair the meeting.

In a press release, Secretary-General of the GCC, Abdullatif Al Zayani, said the ministers will discuss ways of bolstering and promoting the European-Gulf relations as part of an existing strategic dialogue.

They will also discuss current regional issues, Al Zayani added.
