ABU DHABI, 8th November 2015 (WAM) — The French oil and gas industry will once again take part in Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2015) from November 9-12, 2015, with 33 companies representing the various sectors of the industry.

The French companies will be grouped together in the French section organised by Business France, a government agency supporting the international development of the French economy.

ADIPEC, one of the world’s largest oil and gas exhibitions, and the first in the Gulf area, is a key event to meet the industry’s decision-makers and professionals.

Business France said French oil and gas sector brings together the world’s leading operators such as Total or ENGIE, companies who provide equipment or services to the oil and gas industry, some of them being the world’s giants such as CGG and TECHNIP, etc.

The French oil and gas sector generates nearly 35 billion euros in turnover, provides 60,000 high-level technical and scientific jobs and French technologies benefit from an international reputation, according to Business France By attending the ADIPEC exhibition and showing their expertise and technologies, the French companies are looking to develop or consolidate their business in the Middle East, a key region in the oil and gas industry.
