RAMALLAH, 10th November, 2015 (WAM) — The number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of October has risen to 79, with more than 3,000 injured by both live and rubber-coated rounds.

The Palestine News Agency, WAFA, quoted the Ministry of Health as saying, “The figures include 17 children and three women, one of whom is a pregnant mother of a two-year-old girl from the Gaza Strip.

In its press release, the ministry said that a total of 60 Palestinians had been killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, and a further 18 were killed in the Gaza Strip. One youth from Naqab was also pronounced dead.

The Ministry said that 1,248 Palestinians had been shot with live rounds since the beginning of the unrest in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Around 1,008 Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Among the injured in the West Bank were 370 children, 180 from live rounds, 120 from rubber coated steel bullets, 30 from teargas canisters and sound cannons, also known as long range acoustic devices, 40 from physical assault and 170 during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, mostly with live rounds.
