AMMAN, 24th July, 2016 (WAM) — The Jordanian government has strongly condemned the criminal attack that took place in the city of Munich, Germany, which left 9 victims dead and more than 20 others wounded, as well as the death of the gunman.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government spokesperson, Mohammad Momani, renewed Jordan’s call for coordinated international efforts to fight terrorism, which, he said, has begun using “heinous methods” that intimidate innocent people.

While voicing the government’s condemnation of the attack, Momani said, “Jordan stands by Germany and its friendly people”, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
