AMMAN, 29th December, 2015 (WAM) — The Jordanian Government today said that recapturing the Iraqi key city of Ramadi from the Daesh terrorist group is an important step and a qualitative breakthrough in the war against terrorism.

According to the Jordanian News Agency, PETRA, the Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Mohammad Momani, who is also a government spokesperson, said that the victory came as a result of the determination of the international coalition and Iraqi forces to restore security and confidence to Iraqi citizens, stressing that what has been achieved is part of efforts to combat and defeat terrorism.

Momani reaffirmed Jordan’s firm and constant stance to fight against terrorism to achieve peace and security .
