ABU DHABI, Jordanian Ambassador to the UAE Juma Abdullah Al Abadi has hailed the UAE leadership for its efforts in preparing a generation of knowledgeable and well-educated Emiratis to spread their country's humanitarian message to the rest of the world.

During a meeting at the Jordanian embassy in Abu Dhabi with the members of the UAE Balloon Team, led by Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansouri, the Jordanian ambassador praised the team's efforts to promote a culture of humanitarian and voluntary work, supporting Arab and other countries and contributing towards spreading intercultural tolerance and peaceful co-existence across the world.

Underlining the need for co-operation among the Arab youth, Ambassador Al Abadi praised the activities of the UAE Balloon Team.

The team is now gearing up to fly in Jordan, using balloons belonging to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Captain Al Mansouri said teams from several European countries, including Germany, will participate in the UAE Balloon Team's initiative to promote Jordan's tourist sites by flying over the country's historic cities.
