AMMAN, 24th October, 2016 (WAM) — Nasser Judeh, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, and Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, United Nations’ envoy for Yemen, have discussed the latest developments in Yemen and ways to address the Yemeni crisis.

According to the Petra News Agency, the two officials also reviewed the humanitarian and security situation in Yemen, as well as efforts to reach a political solution to the crisis in the country.

Judeh and the UN envoy stressed their keenness to boost cooperation between Jordan and various UN agencies to serve regional and global issues, highlighting Jordan’s support for the role shouldered by the UN to achieve peace and security in Yemen.
