AMMAN, 6th January, 2016 (WAM) — Abdullah Ensour, Jordanian Prime Minister, has discussed the framework of the Jordan Response Plan for the Syrian Refugee Crisis 2016-2018, which aims to develop programmes that will enable the Kingdom to bear the consequences of hosting Syrian refugees.

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the meeting comes in preparation for the Third International Humanitarian Pledging Conference for Syria, which will be held in London in February, during which Jordan will present the framework’s details and ways to mobilise international support for it.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the international community and donor countries’ support for Jordan to enable it to grapple with the repercussions of hosting Syrian refugees, through infrastructure projects in various sectors, especially in host communities.
