King of Jordan condemns Istanbul terror bombing

AMMAN, 13th January, 2016 (WAM) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan has condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul's Sultanahmet district, killing a number of civilians and wounding others.

The Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted King Abdullah in a cable to Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as expressing his sympathies and condolences over this tragic incident. He also stressed that Jordan stands side by side with Turkey to counter such terrorist and cowardly acts, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
