ABU DHABI -- Park Kang-Ho, Ambassador of South Korea to the UAE, hosted an iftar banquet on Friday night to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was attended by a delegation from the Emirati-Korean Friendship Society led by its Chairman Hamid Al Hammadi.
Addressing the audience, the ambassador said he was glad to share one of Islam's great traditions. Al Hammadi thanked the Korean Ambassador for hosting the event, which he said promotes cultural interaction among people.
"The event introduces the UAE Ramadan traditions to the resident Korean community," he added.
