KUWAIT, March 3 (WAM) — Kuwait oil price went up by 15 cents to US$ 29.52 per barrel Wednesday compared to US$ 29.37 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Thursday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the price went up in the global market due to expectations that oil producers will freeze production at January levels despite the increase in American crude reserves, which reached 518 million barrels last week.

The price of Brent mix increased yesterday by 12 cents to reach US$ 36.93 per barrel. American crude followed pursuit, going up by 26 cents to US$ 34.66 pb.
