KUWAIT, 28th December, 2015 (WAM) –Sheikh Mohammed Khalid Al Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Dr. Abdul Malik Abdul Jalil Al Mekhlafi, Yemeni Foreign Minister, have discussed security issues of common interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) reported in a statement issued today by the Department of Security of Information at the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry that the meeting touched on the security situation experienced by the region and its repercussions on other states, pointing out that the two sides stressed the importance of coordination and open channels of security cooperation, improvement of training and raising the efficiency of security as a priority during the current stage of the situation in Yemen in order to restore the security and tranquility of the Yemeni people.
