KUWAIT, 20th October, 2016 (WAM) — The price of Kuwaiti oil per barrel rose 66 cents reaching US$47.53 on Wednesday, compared to US$46.87 per barrel on Tuesday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, KPC, said on Thursday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, in international markets, oil prices went up more than two percent yesterday, Wednesday, because of an unexpected substantial decline in US crude stocks, when US Energy Information Administration said that crude inventories fell by 5.2 million barrels in the week ending October 14th.
