TOKYO, 11th May, 2016 (WAM) — Prime Minister of Kuwait, H.H. Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and his accompanying delegation, arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, on Wednesday, on an official visit during the fourth and last leg of his Asian tour.
Kuwait’s official news agency, KUNA, quoted a statement of the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, in which he praised the depth of the historic relations with Japan, which date back to the 1960s.
He stressed the keenness of Kuwait and Japan on the development of bilateral relations and promoting prospects of cooperation in various fields.
He said that Kuwait is looking to Japan as an economic partner, as well as to increase trade and joint investment opportunities, especially in infrastructure, energy, oil industries and technology.
