Mohamed bin Zayed, Argentina’s Vice President, discuss bilateral relations

ABU DHABI, -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today met Argentina's Vice President Gabriela Michetti who is currently touring the region.

H.H. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the visit of Michetti and her accompanying delegation, and the two discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Argentina besides enhanced co-operation in economic and investment fields, increase in trade exchanges, benefits from joint opportunities and further expansion of economic partnership. They also discussed ways to boost joint investments and how to leverage mutual experiences and expertise to develop various sectors.

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince confirmed that the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen on establishing effective relations with various countries based on mutual respect and co-operation. The ties between the two countries have seen notable development across all domains, he also noted.

Argentina's Vice President expressed her satisfaction over the visit. She also stressed her country is keen to boost co-operation mechanisms, especially in areas such as economic, investment and trade domains.

H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, also attended the meeting. Others present included Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, and Fernando Ramon Martinis, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to the UAE, and other Argentine officials.
