ABU DHABI, 21st July, 2016 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a phone call from the British Prime Minister Theresa May.
They discussed friendship and co-operation between the two countries, and ways to develop them in the best interests of the two sides.
Sheikh Mohamed wished May good luck and success in her new task, stressing his confidence in the two countries’ keenness on enhancement of the distinguished and historic ties between the two friendly peoples.
Sheikh Mohamed and May also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern, especially those related to the developments in a number of countries in the region.
They also tackled the phenomena of terrorism and violence which target innocent people in so many countries, as well as the international community’s efforts to eradicate them.
