ABU DHABI, 29th October, 2016 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Saturday the visiting Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani.

Sheikh Mohamed discussed with Al Thani fraternal relations and ways to enhance them in the best interest of two countries and peoples.

They tackled co-operation and co-ordination frameworks among the GCC states regarding the political and security issues in light of the current challenges and the latest developments in the region.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Qatar’s FM also discussed GCC’s joint efforts to safeguard the security and stability of the region.

They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern.

H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, Saleh Mohammed bin Nasra Al Amri, the UAE Ambassador to Qatar and Hadi bin Nasser Mansour Al Hajri, Qatari Ambassador to the UAE attended the meeting.
